Design Brief
This project involved taking Porsche branding and design language and applying them to emerging products and user experience in the transportation sector. Students worked with and received feedback from Laurance Yap, an automotive journalist who previously worked as Head of Marketing for Pfaff Automotive Partners.
Students also attended the Canadian International Auto Show with the intent of getting up-close with Porsche products to study their design language.
At the end of the project, the class presented their designs to sales and marketing members at Porsche Centre Vaughan for feedback.
Two initial concepts were generated – a golf cart, and a jetpack.

The jetpack concept was then further developed upon.

Lastly, a CAD model was produced in SolidWorks, and renders were done in SolidWorks Visualize.
The jetpack many configurability options, and can be finished to the same specification of the user’s Porsche vehicle.
Shown here are some sample configurations.
